Hi, we are off to Grin Low next week and my wife is a keen runner. Never been there before so wondered if anybody knew what it is like for running? Presume it will be hilly, but can you run off road? Many thanks for any advice.

For off road real cross country running Grin Low couldn't be better.
Come out of the site and turn sharp left into the car park. Follow the footpath signs for Solomons Temple. It's a good uphill slog that will get the ticker going. Then loads of different path sthrough Grin Woods down into Pooles Cavern and the town itself.
Have a look at this http://www.buxtoncivicassociation.org.uk/bca_ring_of_trees.pdf
