Saab 93 TiD Vectra Spoert 150bhp

Hello All

Anyone out there with a Saab? Thinking of buying a Bailey Vogue.

Will the motor tow it ok (1500Kg. Are saabs generally a good tow car?

look forward to your replies

Nick,

I use a Saab 9000 to tow our Lunar Venus which is not a small caravan, and have no problem, even on steep twisty hill roads on a trip to Wales. Fuel consumption is around 26 - 28mpg while towing.

I used an f reg Saab 900 to tow a swift Conqueror all over Britain with no problem. Fantastic car with 200k mls on the clock. Only problem now is after the classic 900 they're not real Saabs.

Hi,

I hada SAAB 9000 cse which was a graet towcar, but I think that your van might give problems with the 85% rule, and you could be almost if not over 100%. Check the cars kerbweight. A Vectra estate would probably be a better match particularly the V6 TD
