SAD our main house fridge packed up on Friday
SAD my coolbox then packed up this morning
SAD I cut through the GAS MAIN in my drive tonight with a disc cutter, gas board every where!
REALLY GLAD I missed the main electric supply by about 2" (50mm)
REALLY GLAD I'm still here.
REALLY GLAD I got a cold beer from the caravan.
WHO ACTUALLY cares if it rains when I go away again.

The moral of this post is you really dont know what is around the next corner, take care every one.

Sir Gagakev WC (Bar)

Frightening time shows how easy things can go wrong.

Have another beer and toast your good luck in still being around

Maybe someone somewhere is telling you t o give up DIY? LOL.

Anyway I too am very happy you haven't hurt yourself.

Please leave your disk cutter at home when we go to Poston Mill. I like my caravan as it is!

Glad you are OK.....phew that was close

................I guess it was a plastic main so no sparks!!

Such things also happen to professionals ....... a neighbour had their drive block paved and the mini digger driver hooked their plastic water main and yanked it causing a severe leak under their house.
The repair needed a specialist boring machine to fit a new main under the house and it was not available to do the job for 4 weeks!
