Deep polished two days ago. Strange rain last night resulted in this mess 🙀

Yes, it is the dust from the Sahara, as your heading states. In Nigeria, we referred to it a Hamatan, or Harmatan, finer than talcum powder, the visibility could get down to 1/2 a mile. It clogs up jet engines as it solidifies in the cooling ducts, much as the smoke from Volcanoes.

What is this rain you speak of?
We had buckets of rain on Monday night. That coupled with the Sahara dust makes the cars look awful! Now need to use a hand wash to clean the cars. And to think we breathe in that Sahara dust!

On the subject of rainfall, we have noticed that most farms around us do not have small dams or even boreholes. Is thre a reason for this or have the water companies got all water tied up to fill their coffers?
