santa fe rear view camera

I think my rear view camera has started showing a different view, I hitchED up the caravan using the camera this afternoon, when I got home the view was different, it now shows part of the rear number plate, and rear panel as well as towball, can anyone tell me whether the camera is adjustable please?

It depends on the make, model and method of fitting the rear view camera Woodsieboy.
I fitted a number plate bracket mounted camera to my 2009 Sorento and it allows for up / down adjustment.
Some factory fitted reversing cameras have an adjusting screw.
There's a great variety of reversing cameras which will have various mounts and adjustment capabilities so have a good look at how yours is mounted.

Hi Woodsie, just checked my SFe, and the camera is NOT adjustable, but maybe the lens can be knocked out of the mount.

Thank you all, Hutch does your rear view camera show part of the number plate in the bottom right and bottom left of the screen please? I am sure mine used to show the tow ball then clear view behind, wondering if the camera has been knocked when hitching up. Can feel a visit to Hyundai dealer coming on .
Parksy the camera is an original manufacturer fitting and appears to be a solid unit, there is a video on you tube showing how to replace it but nothing on adjustment

Woodsie, yes I get a very small amount of number plate, left and right at the bottom of the screen , also the rear panel and the towball, yours sound the same as mine. Mine has been like this from new.
Good luck.
