Santander Port closed November 2011

Brittany Ferries have just rung to tell us that Santander Ferry Port is closed for all of November 2011, and we will have to sail home from Bilbao. Same ferry and times and cost.
We need to be at the port for 9.00am Saturday morning (Nov 19th). Does anyone know of any campsites nearby, or is it possible to park at the port overnight.
 
After arriving at Santander we stopped at Camping Playa del Regaton, Laredo, which is about 38 miles west of Bilbao and pretty much the same distance east of Santander, having picked the site out of the Alan Rogers book which describes it as an ideal stop-over for those en route to either ferry port.
 
We have stayed overnight at the Bilbao ferry port many times. No problems and its an easy 5 minute walk to the shops and restaurants in the town.
 
Thanks for the info. The campsite mentioned is only open til September. Sounds like staying at the Port is the best option.
