Yes the question was I am looking for a site near to Santander that we can use when we get off the ferry next April. Good washroom facilities are all were looking for as we only intend to stay a couple of nights before heading south.

Hi Petera
I would recommend Camping El Helguero at Ruiloba.
I had written a note on it for friends - herewith:

The site we
are happy to recommend here is Camping El Helguero at Ruiloba

(www.campingelhelguero.com), which
is about 30km from Santander. We stayed for a couple of nights there at
the beginning of May this year. We found it a quiet, pleasant site with a good
area for tourers. The atmosphere was welcoming. There is easy access to
Comillas and the excellent beaches beyond there. This year the site gave the
ACSI Card reduction (16 Euros) from 8 April to 7 July and from 26 August to 30
September. It accepted Camping Cheques for the same periods.

To access:
Take the Autovia A8 (non-toll) from Santander and Torrelavega towards Gijon and
Oviedo. Exit at Junction 249 onto CA 135 towards Comillas. After 7km turn right
onto CA 359 to Ruiloba. Continue through Ruiloba and La Iglesia, forking right
up the hill. The site entrance is then on the right.
