Santander to Madrid

Hi there.
Looking for the best route from Santander to Madrid. Plan to stay a couple of nights at Camping Playa Joyel in Noja before heading south to Madrid. One night halt along the way as we are not in a rush. Towing a twin axle.
How are the roads on this route and off course which route would you suggest ?

Sorry I can not help with the route that you need, but we stayed at Playa Joyel back in June 2007.
It is a very large site but out of season you can choose which pitch you want as it is nice & quiet
The sanitary blocks are cleaned several times a day, in fact whilst using the urinals the lady cleaner was giving me Spanish lessons!!!
One strange rule they have is that if you use the swimming pool, you must wear a swimming cap, even if like me you have very short hair
