santander to villa nova barcelona

HI EVERYONE,we are thinking of going to barcelona sept 1,please can anyone tell me how long it takes to go from santander to villa nova caravan park near barcelona towing caravan,plus the mileage.also can anyone recomend stop over near santander port.thank you very much ALL THE BEST ALAN P/T

My route would be via Bilbao, Logrono, Zaragoza and continue down the River Ebro valley (big river to Barca.

All the roads en route are either Motorway or good class equiv. to our A roads.

The mieage comes in at 423miles which is doable in one day but I cannot advise as to stops as 'our stop' is at Haro and is nowhere near Santander but is on the route about 2 1/2, 3 hrs from Santander.

Alternative stops not too far from the route are at Mendigorria just south of Pamplona or Sabinan (Calatayud) just south of Zaragoza.

Hi we travel this route on our way to Costa Brava and stop over at Zaragoza in a site which is very new with clean good facilities. On the route back it normally takes about 7 hours excellent roads
