IS THERE A DECENT CAMPSITE I CAN USE FOR AN OVER NIGHT NEAR Santander

I stayed at a municipal site on a hill in the centre of Santander. Avoid at all costs. Very dirty, unfriendly, almost intimidating

We stayed for a couple of nights at Santillana del Mar, about 20 miles west of Santander, before catching the ferry home. Was a good site with decent size pitches & facilities. Easy drive into Santander. C&CC recommended, us too!

We stayed at amping Playa Joel, Noja in September. It's 18 miles from Santander and has all facilities. Have a look at their website.

Playa Joyel is a brilliant site near to Santander, we had a great 2 weeks there at the end of a 3 month hol in Spain last year. Well worth a visit.
