Sat Finder

Where can I buy a sat finder that just has a red light which turns to green when you hit the sky satellite like the one a chap used at our campsite when we were having difficulty with ours. His was so simple?

Hi Chris ,

I've got something like you describe but it came with my sat in a suitcase package.

I got that from Roadpro - might be worth seeing if they do it as a one off. Other than that I've also got one of those needle and scale ones from Maplins.

I'm no expert having only used my sat dish once!!

This was the one I got and does the job perfectly

I've never seen a "from red to green" since you need to see the signal strength and tune it to the max possible. The one I use has a row of red LED's showing the signal strength. The first one is green to show that power (and dish) is connected. Maybe this is what you meant?

This is what confused me 3 years ago. There are a number of satellites up there and the thing I have is like Legsmaniac. Only problem I had was it got all excited on every satellite there was and I didn't know which one I was on.

On screen for Sky you need 0002 and transponder 07d4. The magic box with buzzers and lights doesn't tell you that. For about
