Sat TV for Caravan

Can anybody tell me the equipment I need for Sat TV in the caravan? Where can I get the best deal for this including a set top box? Will my sky card from home work in the van. I am quite new to this so would appreciate any info/experience.

I would suggest you buy a second hand sky box, and a satellite dish and tripod on ebay....what would we do without ebay...

Your sky card will work in the Sky box....or at least mine does.

Patience is the word when you first try to 'tune in' and a basic compass will help.

I messed about at home first, just to get the hang of it, and you soon will.

It takes just a few minutes now once we are pitched....good luck

Hi, first post be gentel!

I i've got the satalite dish in a case from Maplin C/w 'set top' box it gets all the free sat programs, and radio. The box is smaller than a car radio and lives in a box under the roof locker. its connected to a 15inch flat telly on a swing arm so it can be seen from any where in the van.
