Saundersfoot & Tenby Area

Recommendations for a well established site with good shower blocks for two mature adults please.

Please note the site does not have to an adults only site.

Hi Grimbo - you could try the CC site at Freshwater East between Tenby and Pembroke - right on the beach but very little amenities around - should imagine boring if weather is poor. Another site, although commercial. having swimming pool and club house is Cross Park. This site is on the Pembroke road just passed Killgetty. It is quite central to both Tenby and Saundersfoot. If you were to come east approx 20 miles Penmbrey CC site is brilliant in fine weather - it is on the Pembrey Country Park and next to a fabulous natural beach and the Millenium Cycle Track. I would not recommend Kiln Park as it is too big for us and typical "hi-de-hi". It all depends what you want from a park.

Hi, everytime we visit that area we always stay at Trevayne farm, they have spectacular views, electric hook up and ,although basic, toilets and showers. Can be slightly exposed though. You would need to book space in the monkton field though as this has the views.

If in Amroth, the Cartwheel is worth a visit for food.

If you are sited on the "top main road" above S/foot, ie the A478, and within walking distance on either Pendlepoir or the "New Hedges" roundabout, then you can get in & out of S/foot by bus most evenings.(there are no touring sites down in the village).
