Just returned from a splendid week at a wonderful CL near Bideford North Devon. Magnificent views over the River Taw and onwards to Chivenor. 16 amp EHU. The farm house even had a toilet and mini bathroom for us guys.

Then along came a WINGER. Moaning aboutthe state of the chemical toilet disposal point. He and his wife said they were nearly sick. Well I and another chap had already used the facility with no problem. Ok it was the old style sceptic tank with the dustbin lid but I have no problem at all with this design. It is clean elatively smell free etc.

Anyway WINGER wouldn't shut up and had a good old moan at the CL owner, a very pleasant lovely 82 year old lady. He upset her no end , quite uneccessarily.

If people like WINGER are rude and overdemanding to our CL owners, we wil have no CLs left.

Yes Mr and Mrs WINGER, if you read this you will know it is you I am talking about. Please get a life and stop your pathetic complaints about decent CL owners who are offering us caravanners excellent value for money.

Cheers

We must be very lucky, We have not had any problems as you have described , this may be due to the fact we are caravaner's and I know what I like to find when we visit a CL. Thats how ours has been laid out. I would love to put in a toilet and showers but the cost and cleaning make it to expensive.

Hi David

The beauty of a CL for us is to be self supporting although EHU is a bonus. This was a lovely site yet the WINGERS still had top moan. It annoys me these people who think they are owed everything for nothing.

"these people who think they are owed everything for nothing"

You hit the nail on the head there Alan. These plonkers would only be relatively happy if it was free. To see their mugs as much as crease into a smile you would need to pay them to use the sites.

Why don't you put a letter in the Club mag, maybe they would get the message then? Theres more chance of them reading it in there than on this forum.

Hi LB

I think I'll do just that. Like you the beauty of CL's is that many of them are in delightful places and / or settings. They are inexpensive and all the owners I have met are very friendly.

Letter on its way to CC tomorow.

Cheers

Alan
