We have had our new caravan 6 months and done 6 sites (not winter) Have now found out what the green thing does to the electrics. Coming home on the last trip had a very odd sensation when towing the caravan it was pulling me from side to side my first thought was weight was wrong in the caravan but it was not it was lane control on the car when I turned it off all back to normal so you live and learn

Lane control helps the driver maintain a steady course within the lane. It uses cameras to spot lane markings etc and aims to keep the car within the lane. There are different ways it does this but generally it will gently adjust the steering wheel to alert the driver that they are drifting.
I suspect that as the OP found out when it was turned off that the interaction of the caravan activated the lane control.

I have just become a proud owner of a 1970 Ace Airstream 10ft 4 berth caravan. Its in a bit of state but has all the original fittings of which some need replacing. I'm going to restore as much as I can but i'm trying to find anyone who has spare parts (if that's possible). can anyone help. Ace.
