EV and Hybrid brake lights question

Over the last few weeks I have noticed two EVs in front apply their brakes for no reason .
Not slowing down. Repeated flickering.

Do the brake lights come on every time the throttle is released?
It was a tad annoying so held back k for a few minutes

Some EVs display brake lights when the regenerative braking exceeds a certain g level

You'd love it here in the Highlands then during tourist season. Many a tourist have no idea if how to drive outside a city or motorway.

They brake at every on coming vehicle, every bend and every scenic location. And sometimes just for the fun of it, I'm sure.

Keeps their traction batteries nicely charged then for a stay in Applecross.

👍The Belach na ba, pass of the cattle. Imo the most fantastic scenic road in the UK with the oasis , Applecross Inn, at the end. Some of the best Scottish seafood😎

Same here in Devon, but the real killer is when they slow right down for a cattle grid on Dartmoor! 😂🤣

I was following one the other day decided he didn't know the road and it's brake lights came on at every bend whereas I was just lifting off. Seems he was doing the same😲

Many modern cars now have radar sensing brake system fitted and brake automatically if the car thinks there is danger ahead i.e a bend in the road. The car thinks there is an obstacle in front and brakes. Nothing to do with the driver.
