Scenic awning

I have followed all the forums on the above and last weekend managed to see one up on site, I noticed that the owner had car sponges wedged in against the van where the upper pole meets the van, strange I thought, so popped into my local store and lo and behold they had the Panorama in there, had a chat with the shop owner and he said his only concern with these awnings was the weakness at this pole where it can damage the side of the van just moving in light winds, so methinks this is why my fellow vanner used the sponges, anybody else had problem with this I would be pleased to know before I part with some money, thanks in advance Ian

Dear dear you are repeating again, and don't stay up late tonight
Joby just ignore Lord B. tonight - it is the time of month with the moon over his manor. Instead of the Horlicks tonight methinks he should have a dose of bicarbonate of soda in lemonade pop as he is repeating so much this evening.

Have a similar type to senic and in moderate wind the stitching near the pole ends gave way and the poles marked the caravan 4 small marks only
