SCENIC PLUS porch awning?

We are considering buying a porch awning that is light/quick to erect (we already have a full winterised awning) so that we can use it over the odd weekend(s) when we don't want to put a huge one up.

Are they as good as they are made out? Do they leak? Would appreciate all your comments before going ahead and making a purchase.

Hi, we looked at the Kyham awning at the NEC show and the assistant erected it in less than 45 seconds. It was very simple and also Kyham have a good reputation for tents etc, but the awning is new on the market so there may not be much user feedback.

We bought a Scenic Plus last summer, specifically for short stays, and have been delighted with it. It can be put up in about 15 minutes, even by one person and so far has proved equal to all the conditions in which we have used it. Although it is well made, from good materials, I would doubt if it would have the life-span you might expect from a conventional porch, but it this is a trade-off we are prepared to make against the advantages of light-weight, quick erection time and -relatively - cheap price.

Go 4 the Scenic Plus. Absolutely excellent in terms of ease & speed. Also remarkably robust in sudden high winds.
