Scenic Plus v Ultima 390

We have a Scenic Plus but are considering purchasing an Ultima 390 for the additional space and the fact they are still as easy to put up.

A friend who has an Ultima 260 claims the Scenic Plus is better and more rigid in wind due to the horizontal pole holding the two vertical poles more securely in place.

Anyone with experience of both, if so how do they compare?

We have both. We bought our Scenic plus about two years ago and when we bought our new carvan bought the Ultima 390.

We have used both in windy conditions and both have stood up well. Me and my hubby even slept in the ultima in April whenwe had visitors staying. We use the Ultima as our main awning now even on weekends as it is so easy to put up. The worst problem we had was trying to put it up when it was windy but we didi it in the end.

Just back from a weekend in Gairloch where we used our Ultima 390 for the first time. It was more breezy than windy, and we had a fair bit of rain on Saturday night but the awning was fine. Nice n easy to put up, and even easier to take back down again. It even went in back in the bag first time,

Sounds like the 390 is as good as the Scenic Plus but with the extra space.

With an 18 month old we are looking for a little extra storage space so sound ideal.
