Scotland trip

Hi everyone. My family and I are taking our Swift Archway to visit folks in Haddington, (near Edinburgh),Scotland next May. We want to take our time, so thought we would have a couple of overnight stops on the way, stay a few days then take a few days to come back. We live in Poole, so could anyone recommend best possible route with some good sites on the way? It would be much appreciated

We are also heading to Edinburgh on the 27th , we are stopping at a caravan clus site near penrith on the way up - I tried countless Caravan club sites that are 'open all year' however they do not answer the phone or call back if you leave a message - my advice is to find somewhere now and do not wait until you are on the way!
