Scrap caravans

Hopefully not needed for some time yet but there is a caravan locally to me that the owners are giving away as it needs some repairs. I will be going to look at it to see exactly what it needs. If I decided to take it home and found it was too big a project, how would I dispose of it? Could advertise it for anyone that wanted it but would a car scrap yard dispose of it? Would it need to go to a caravan scrap yard? How would I find one of these? Are there any costs involved?
 
Just put it in your local paper F.o.c and they will take it away for you .Seen several advert in papers asking for simular using them as storeage purposes.
