Scratches

This has probably been asked before, but what is the best method of removing scratches from caravan windows?

I just wash the windows down, as my wife need cataract replacements so I can probably last another 6 months until I need to polish them.

I used Meguirs basically because I had some in the garage that had been used to restore the faded plastic headlights on a Nissan Note. Worked fine on the caravan windows too.

Thanks for your suggestions. did you use good old "Elbow Grease" or mechanical methods e.g electric drill and mop?

Not heard of the product so looked it up on Google had incredible write ups so might send off for some, cheers.

I would use "Elbow" but being crafty if the better half, "Mrs H" noticed the scratches I would ask her to point out the scratched areas with the Fenwick's on a cloth. And wipe the area until clear enough to see me drinking a cider inside the caravan. A wine would be waiting for her. 😂

Hmm sounds like a great idea, I suppose the more cider drunk the clearer they are 😂😂

Vuplex is great - leaves windows really shining! We get about 3+months of sparkling windows following a vuplex treatment. We use it inside and out.

Dometic do a kit especially designed for the job with everything you need (liquid, cloth etc) , works a treat

If the scratches are a bit "deep" use Brasso pads initially followed by Vuplux. We have been using Vuplux for several years and found it to be excellent.
