We've just got home from a long weekend at Seacroft, and we enjoyed it. Pool was out of use (covered for the winter?) - we hadn't wanted a swim anyway. Bar is in a large room with dance floor and a large (and good) TV. We had a pretty good breakfast there this morning. Don't know Haven so can't compare.
Pitches are mainly grass, and some slope so take your cheese wedges. Some show evidence of hard summer use with bare patches from thoughtless use of awning groundsheets. Several pitches are quarantined while they recover.
Pitch spacing is as normal for a CC site. We didn't feel crowded when the site became full at the weekend. The other campers seemed a decent enough lot - hope they felt the same about us.
Facilities are brand new and very CC - need I say more! But for some reason (ask a warden) there's only one loo/shower/washroom key per outfit, which can be inconvenient...
The wardens are also very CC - pleasant, helpful and efficient. From their comments it seems the site can be quite hectic in summer (maybe that's when Angus went), being so close to the town and beach, but right now it's fairly quiet.
