Season pitch in the Lake District

Hi Everyone, My wife and I are new to caravaning and have just purchased a new Hobby. We are looking to site it in the Lake District for the season (9 months ish) but cannot find a site to take us. Ideally we are looking for a quite un commercialised pitch within easy reach of Windemere or similar without paying upwards of £3,000 for the season. We are not interested in club houses, and swimming pools etc just a quite field near the Lake will suffice. Can anybody out there help us???? Many Many thanks

Try Bardsea Leisure, it`s near Ulverston, not on the lake, but only a short drive away, they have tourers and statics, so I assume they will have seasonal pitches as well.
