SEASONAL PITCHES

We've just brought our 1st caravan - an Elddis Supersirocco. That was the easy bit, I am struggling to find a seasonal pitch for my new van due to every site I've contacted being fully booked, and with a long waiting list.

Is it better to initially book on a site with storage, and hopefully move up the priority list, or do we just keep looking?

Julian

Can you give us all some idea where you are hoping to find your seasonal pitch, Julian. I know of one you might try, but it might not be in your planned area.

Thanks for they reply - We haven't got any real preference, we live in the midlands, and are looking for somewhere within 2.5 hours drive, but close to the sea and child friendly.

Thanks again,

Julian

Julian - we have just booked a seasonal pitch at Widend Caravan site in Marldon nr. Paignton. The site is open from April to end October and the fees are approx.

Hi Julian

The site where we had a seasonal pitch is in the North East, 6 miles inland from Bamborough. Just a tad outside your 'circle'. However, if you wish to have a look at it you can go through Google

South Meadows Caravan & Touring Park

Very child friendly, privately run (owner lives on site). Great beaches. Village on the doorstep.

Hi Julian, we have a seasonal pitch at Snowdon view, Llanberis, North wales. there are a few people from the midlands area here. 11 month site, storage, bar and pool-dont know next years prices yet or availability. This area of North wales is central for countryside and easy access to beaches and has a number of seasonal sites including Conway tourer park,Glan ceirw and Bryn Gloch. they all have websites for contact. When we were looking around for a seasonal site we compiled a list from caravansitefinder and spent the day travelling around looking. The problem with good seasonal sites is that people like them so much they dont leave! good luck!
