My upholstery is looking a bit dated and worn. Anyone had any dealings with companies or individuals that can do me a re-upholster on them.

Regal Furnishings in Derbyshire are a long standing company with overnight stay facilities. There’s another one near to Bristol. A lot will depend on where you live I guess.

It would be a good idea to go to the company that made them for your caravan manufacturer in the first place. Bailey (and I think another) use Belfield at Ilkeston Derbyshire; Regal also in Ilkeston make them for Coachman, Knaus, and for Hobby and Hymer motorhomes; Springvale again - guess where? - make them for Swift and ABI; Tockfield at Shirland (where my father went to school nearly a century ago) a bit farther north up the A61 is another company; and finally (not knowing where you are) there is another specialist re-upholsterer almost next to Bridlington Priory (church.)

Don't know about anybody else but we've always done our own upholstering,Didn't find it difficult - probably not as a profession finish as a professional company can produce but still good enough.

We were dissatisfied with the upholsterey in our caravan when bought new in 2019.
The upholsterey was an all foam construction and had no knee roll and rapidly seemed to set lower.
Although it was replaced we eventually decided we woul prefer new seat cushions with spring interior and knee roll.
We discussed this with BELFIELD furnishing at the January show ,who were able to do exactly what we needed , in the same exterior matching fabric.
The price was in the region of £400 at that time ,.(2 Long and 2 short seat squabs for the 2 front seats of a 2 berth van.No backrests needed )
The comfort improvement was unbelievable.

Incidently they knew the measurements of our seats and we did not need to vist them in Ilkeston at all.

We had 8 cushions done at a upholstery with them been spring interior very comfortable seats just needed recovering last owner, did not look after them so now the covers can come off for a wash when needed ,We paid for a professional job done came with warranty and. they look great
We went there with our motorhome, stayed overnight . They also done curtains pelmets all to match . Excellent job. Also let us watch the machinist for a while.
