Hi,

Is there such a thing as a caravan breakers that might sell 'cheap' second hand motor movers? Or is it better to go the ebay/classified ad route?

I'm tempted to get a motor mover but I don't want to spend £900 on a mover for a £1,800 van!

Any suggestions?

Hi Beej,

One of the reasons there are so many of the jockey wheel replacement unit for sale, is that they are not as universally effective or safe, as the mains axle type.

A forum search will reveal most of the pro's and cons of the various types, but in general most posters end up with the axle type.
