I had a knock on the door yesterday by a policewoman asking if I'd have a quick look at my van parked in the garden. It turns out that there have been a number of caravans broken into in the last few weeks while parked in peoples drives etc just before leaving for their holiday or just returning.
A couple a few doors up from me have had a TV, Playstation, CD player etc taken from theirs overnight while they were in the house.
The police are advising people to remove valuables and leave the curtains/blinds open so thiefs can see there is nothing to take.
