Self Setting (automatic) Pressure Switch?

Hi,

We have been constantly irritated by the pressure switch in our Lunar LX2000. It takes an age to get set "just right", and within a couple of days it needs setting again to get rid of the constant clicking. It drives us so mad, we have even considered paying to covert the van to a microswitched system - just plug in the pump and go!

I can remember seeing an advertisement in either Practical Caravan or the Caravan Club Magazine, for a self setting pressure switch.

Does anybody know / remember the contact details for the company, as they don't seem to be advertising anymore.

I had a similar problem with the switch virtually impossible to set properly. It turned out to be the water itself (from a borehole) which contained a lot of dissolved air which the pressure switch didn't like! It was fine when we got home on our home water supply.
