As I was leaving a site yesterday I felt something tug at the car and when I checked I found that the handbrake on our 14 month old Abbey had sprung on. I pushed it back down and set off. About 8 miles later, just after I'd joined the motorway I again felt something amiss and again found that the handbrake had sprung up causing the brakes to come on. There was smoke everywhere, a horrific smell of burning and the brakes had siezed. After the tow truck failed to load the caravan (the brakes having cooled down and inseized)I strapped down the hanbrake and took the van back to the dealership. The van is 14 months old and was serviced 2 months ago. I'm not a happy Homer!
