Selling accessories

Hi all ,
We've got a full size , hardly used Bradcott awning , where would anyone suggest to sell it as we're not allowed on here , any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks ,

Craig . 🙁

Never tried selling one other than back to an awning dealer in Somerset, but you could try Preloved, Gumtree, ebay, etc.

Mine was a nearly new Bradcot also. Came new as part of a package worth £1,000 when I bought my first caravan (second hand) from a dealer.

Hi Craig, we had a full awning whhich came with Starter pack on our first caravan, £700 worth, used it once tried to sell it for almost 4 years at sensible prices, after 5 years gave it away for £70 on E bay. Big Awning only good if your pitched up for a couple of weeks. Dealers should stop tempting Newbies with these awnings.

Thanks guys , we paid £8oo + so Hutch ! I hope we get more than £7o back !! I'll take a loss but hopefully not that much !!
It's been up once at Peak District and the twice in France !! Our porch awning is sufficient enough and a fair size . Will try eBay . If you's hear off anyony wanting one . . . . 😗

Thanks Wc' and Hutch .

Craig .

Hope you manage, taking both awnings over in July to France, a Outdoor revolution 390 carbonlite, and a Swift air awning 260, , first pitch in Vermenton, for 3 weeks, near Avalon. Put up a for sale sign. The French and Dutch like our awnings and then for the next three weeks we van use the Air awning. .
Come on get to the Woosie fest. I NEED your help.

yeah good luck with that, when I sold the van the buyer did not need any of the extra kit, after 12 months of it sitting in the garage while I tried to sell or give it all away with no interest it went into a skip, all of it except the EHU that made a nice 25mtr extension lead.

When a friend of mine went from a a very nice tent to a caravan, " They even have hot water in there" he said. We told them about not getting the awning, , with the starter Pack, they saved, £600. . Big awnings are not always needed.

So I'm starting to realise , was at York the other week , beechwood grange site , put the porch awning up in 2o minutes , 3 people pulled on with same air awnings and were up in the same time !!!!

Took me 30 minutes for the Porch awning, got it inside out, thankfully nobody around to see. Off to Switzerland on Thurday, but without van 😛 . For three weeks. Checking out some sites in France, Itaty and Black forest. Oh Sproket whats that word, WORK. !!!!

We had a 1050 Bradcot three years ago that had hardly been used. We advertised on Preloved for £750 got £700 from the first person on the second day. A couple of days after that we sold the Bradcot porch for £200 and that was our Isabella Magnum paid for all bar £99. You just need to be realistic in your asking price. The full one had cost around 900 can't remember how much the porch had been, that was 3 years old.

If you use Facebook there are some groups on there for buying and selling caravan and camping stuff - there might be one local for your area of the country?
