Senator Indiana Series 5 Toilet Flush

The electric flush on my Indiana sticks on. I assume there is a micro switch involved but how do I get at it because there seems no easy way of doing it - any suggestions?
 
If its like my s5 oklahoma...

There is a small panel surrounding the flush button - you need to lever this upward (vertically upwards). Its held on with a non-setting mastic.
