Hi

Which CC sites have fully serviced pitches please!if any?

Preferably in the lakes or wales !! would want waste and water connections in the minimum !( am giving van to mother in law for a break after course of chemo) so nice quiet sites would be a bonus also, the less work the better regardless of price !! Also any non CC sites ?

Thanks !

Hi Tina,

Haveof a look at bryn gloch. (www.bryngloch.co.uk) A fab site with spectacular views of snowdon .The site is situated at the bottom of a valley and has a river runnig through it. The pitches are all of a good size, hardstanding with water, electricity and own drainage. There is no club house but if its peace and quiet and relaxation you need you cannot beat it. Oh yes it won AA campsitr of the year 2005. Hope this is of some help and best wishes to your mother.

I'm not sure about this but I think Chatsworth House in Derbyshire is the only CC site with full service pitches.

There are plenty of other sites that do do them though.

It's a question of surfing the net or trawling the Caravanning magazines to find them.

The Club site at Troutbeck Head (11 miles from Keswick ) has serviced pitches in an area which was originally for residential vans. The site isn't near shops but a small stock is kept at reception for emergencies.Papers can be ordered. The area is wonderful for sightseeing.Hopr all goes well.

Tina,

Just thought of another one which might be of interest to you.

This is an adult only site at nr.Sandiways on the outskirts of Chester. We have been on this site and were extremely impressed. The touring site is level and there are super pitches. The toilets have individual en-suite facilities (wash-hand basin, shower and toilet ).....superb.There are also disabled facilities if needed.Check out their web-site.The owners are on site as well,to give any help required. All the best

hi there, Fluscowood (www.Fluscowood.co.uk) 2 or 3 miles west of Penrith on the A66 is a lovely quiet and peaceful well kept site, this site is a 5 Star site most pitches are hardstanding with electric, water and drainage. The park is set into small cul de sacs with the Lovely and clean modern toilet and shower block located convieniantly in the middle of the cul de sacs, there are views from the park of the hills around but some are resticted by the tress that surround the park, small shop onsite however it is a car journey for any other shops or pubs.

we loved it here!
