Hi Luisa

Not stayed there myself but have visited friends who stayed there as we live just a few miles away. From what I saw there is no problem with the site and our friends enjoyed it with no complaints. It was clean with good facilities.

The entrance is off the busy A31 so care is needed going in and out but no more than any other site on that road and there are a few. The site is set well back from the road so road noise was not a problem. A large Sainsbury's is just up the road.

You have the New Forest a few miles to the East and Bournemouth & Poole to the South of you. Loads of great places to visit in the area. The Tourist Information Office in Ringwood main Car Park is a good place to get info and local maps etc.

If you like a good steak pie pub lunch (they sometimes do Venison) and want to see some of the best bits of the New Forest - try the Foresters Arm just past Stucton near Fordingbridge, then drive through Hyde village a short distance to "Ogdens" and walk it off!

Many thanks for this info, it is reassuring. We are looking forward to going to Shamba, from what you say it sounds a very nice site with lots in the local area.
