Shipping or Body Lengh

i have a dalesman caravan, that has a body length of 5.91m(19.5ft)and a shipping lengh of 6.81m (22.4ft).

im asked by haven or park resorts, what is the length of my caravan which do i tell them body or shipping ie their pitch size is 6m x 6m, its probley a daft easy question

play safe and go with shipping length, your a frame wont end up sticking out into the site road!!

we are going to haven site and told them 7.2m van and they allocated bigger pitch same price

ALWAYS shipping length, not internal body length - the whole of a caravan has to fit on a pitch.

Years ago I found out the hard way, booking a pitch for a 14' (body) caravan - yes they did have one small enough for a 14' overall caravan !!
