I have a Lunar Lexon 640 L twin axle and was wondering whether it was worth fitting shock absorbers. Has any one fitted shock absorbers to a twin axle and if so how is it done and is it a difficult job. Also any idea of cost and where to get them?

We use a lot of CLs and quite often you have to travel down bumpy B roads and everything gets shook up. Not only that i believe that they do improve handling on a major road and are useful in wet windy conditions as they improve stability.

If they are Alko axles and there are slots covered with plastic on the underside of the swing arms then you can buy dampers from Alko complete with fixing brackets. Very easy to fit.
