Shock absorbers

Hi All

We are thinking about selling our van & have had shock absorbers retro fitted when I had a service a while ago.
Does anyone know if I can just undo the holding bolts to remove them ?
Do I need to jack up the van to extend them?
If I undo the bolts will they jam or extend into the floor of the van?

Cheers for now

Hi Julian.
I wouldnt have a clue how to remove the shock absorbers, but was wondering if it would be an idea to leave them on the caravan and make a point of mentioning in the advert that it does have shocks fitted?
I would imagine that it may make the caravan more desirable and help to sell.

Hi Julian
You can take the shocks off, not to difficult, but you will have to jack the van up to take the pressure off the shocks they won't shoot up through the floor because they work by damping not as a spring, but I would leave them on as there only £70 to buy new
Hope this helps
