short stay weekends

ok have decided this year to do some week ends .We will still go away for our 2 weeks in august, but between now and end june i want to take short breaks friday and saturday night coming home on sundays afternoons, we live in plymouth and want about hours drive or just over,

What are sites like about short stays, some frown upon it, but what are everyones experiences like with this arrangement, its not as if we are in peak season,!!!!

Any ideas as well please

Jean, Most sites depend on weekend caravanners to survive. I am sure you will find no problems but if you do then go elsewhere, no problem in your location. Be aware that some sites have early departure times and you may have to pay extra to stay later on the Sunday.
