Hi
Having a bit of a problem with a shower hose. When I bought the cravan the shower hose was hanging off at the tap end. Dealer said it looked as if someone has tried to steal so it would be fixed before we picked it up.
First time out, turned on the water pump and unbeknown to me the shower tap must have been turned on a little as the shower hose promptly 'blew off' the tap and water gushed out.
My question is......should the shower hose 'screw' onto the connector on the tap or does it just 'push' over an 'o'ring (as suggested by the dealer. He has had the caravan for a week and when I phoned yesterday to check the work he said he couldn't find any leaks or what the problem is, and that he'd had the shower running all day without problem. I can't see how it can suddenly be OK when the pressure of simply turing on the tap blew the hose off its fitting.
(The dealer has proved to be an utter £$%^&* to date and it will be the last time I go anywhere near him before issuing a solicitors letter for any refunds necessary from furtue work if he hasn't fixed it, at which point I will name and shame.
Thanks for help.
Andy
