May I return the favour and ask if you've contacted Andy in Downshire camping in Banbridge? He deals regularly with the republic and they are constantly servicing vehicles from the south. The other possibility is a call out scotsman called csi (caravan service i something) he could call to you depending on where you live. Whereabout in the republic are you?

Hi Sarah,

Mine cracked around the drain and I bought a stainless steel dog bowl (actually 3 of them all different diameters) one of the rims was just a bit larger than the drains largest diameter. I flattened the rim with two hammers.(tap, tap, tap all the way round) cut the bottom hole to suit the drain pipe (chain drill and snip), cut out the old drain, cleaned the bowl and the hole and blathered both with silicon sealer and squidged the bowl in and hard down. cleaned the tray up. left it with a brick on it for a day and reconnected the drain pipe. That was two years ago. It's fine. It cost a fiver and a days messing about. If it doesn't work for you then have a new one fitted. What have you lost.
