Shrinking Decals

Has anyone else noticed Decals on Caravan sides shrinking in this hot weather. Our Swift just 2 years old shows decals have shrunk leaving a sticky residue of about 6 mm all around the edges. Never ever seen this in 50+ years of owning caravans. Now had 8 Swifts and have come to the conclusion something has changed in the Decal manufacture.. The Decals have appearance of being thicker than previous years and at the edges they seem to be more of a Rubbery appearance than thinner vinyl ones. Dust is now sticking on the exposed adhesiveIMG_0583.jpegIMG_0584.jpegIMG_0582.jpeg

Where our caravan is parked at home, the nearside is exposed to the sun, and the decals started bubbling and then lifting - after several years getting worse I just peeled them all off, on both sides - not difficult once they started lifting.

The colour from the decals had leached into the underlying white paint and was visible after cleaning - but after 3 years of professional valeting even the leaching is starting to disappear.

Yes when at home only one side gets full sun,but both sides have shrunken by the same amount so this must just relate to overall air temperature. These are not lifting at the moment just the odd small bubble underneath.. If they get a lot worse I may pull them off as the caravan is only 2 years old, and thinking longer left could leach as yours had.
