side lights not working but only down one side?

Hi

Got 1999 abbey county stafford caravan last week the side lights dont work down one side, including one side of the number plate also, have checked the towing connectors and widened them out slighly but still nothing, could it be fuses? if so where are the found?

Thanks alot

hi bob

not a 100% sure but i think the fuse box you re looking for is under your front seats at the front of your van hope this helps

Hello Bob,

As John says the sidelights are separately fed. In the 12N plug the Lh sidelight and number plate light are the Black wire and the Rh lights are the Brown wire. If you have a meter or test lamp, put between the White (Negative)and Brown, or White and Black to see if it's coming from the car.If it's OK at this point, you need to start looking at van fuses or bulbholders etc. Remember fuses blow for a reason!
