Are there any groups in scotland that cater for caravaners who are single and under the age of 30
I am a 63 yr old single caravaner who would like to join a district group, hope I am not going to be discriminated against. Incidentally, how come I have to pay for two persons on Club Sites??Sorry, not that I am aware of. You may be asking too many opposites. People under the age of 30 tend to do activity things such as hillwalking, surfing etc where the camping side of the sport is usually covered by a tent. According to my daughter (aged 30) the in thing is to get a VW 'lovebug' campervan ie a 'bay window van'. Personally I would probably go that route at that age myself.
Joining the local Association of one of the Clubs is also likely to put you together with a lot of people who are over the age of 50, and usually married, so not what you are looking for.
People happily travel alone in caravans, but having a Club per se is probably not available at the moment. Try starting one by posting messages in both major Club magazines and see if there is any response.
