hiyaa,i have just been made single after 20yrs,and am left with big family van,and only myself to go away in it,not much fun in that!are there any other singles out there who enjoy the van life and would like to meet up sometime in and around n.ireland.chris

Over your way there are a number of people who regularly organize get togethers. They normally announce them on the carryoncamping website under the meet's section. I am not sure if they encourage singles but you could always post and ask them.

Like you i also am on my own and been for ten years now,i do caravan on my own sometime but it can be lonely as not everybody excepts a man on his own,i have joined a couple of clubs and also left them because of that reason, there is a loners caravan club for singles,i havent joined myslf or have the web address,but you could do a google searh maybe.i do myself go away with two other singles who of course take there van and we have a wonderful time,Pity you live in Ireland otherwise you could join us,
