Singles Caravanning

There have been various postings on this site regarding single people caravanning and considering giving up as they feel lonely, etc. Could an area be devoted for these people to meet like minded souls and not feel isolated. I am not thinking of a dating type of site - just one to help those who are now single through no fault of their own be it unmarried, divorce, bereavemnet or what ever to meet up and feel wanted in their hobby.
 
Good thought Colin, but I think, say for instance a couple used to go caravanning together, then something happens for what ever reason, surely it would be better to go to a site where your not amounst single,divorced,widowed or widow you have more chance to meet new friends within families, I think your suggestion they would feel more isolated.

Liz perish the thought that I would want the individual to be isolated with like single people. I was thinking more along the lines that should they feel lonely and not want to continue with their caravan hobby they could meet similar people through a contact such as this forum and continue their hobby on all types of sites whether they be adult only, family, cls or what. In other words they would not be isolated on a site of family orientated campers - they would already have company to socialise. Gee Liz you are now getting me confused - heck you know what I mean. Didn't have this problem when you were away hehehehhe Your femanine charms are getting me tongue tied. LOL

They would only feel lonely because whatever the circumstances they are now alone, and takes adjusting too, so with friends they probably already knew would be better than going alone.
