Site Bookings - 2008

Hi everyone

I have booked some CC sites on the web again this year. Normally, we receive an automated email confirmation, but this has only happened on one occasion! Has anyone else had a problem with Booking Confirmation(s)?

I realise that bookings can be seen on my personal 'page' of the Club but it was much better when they sent an automated reply as well.

yes this happened to us when we booked a site in December. I thought it was a technical glitch as it we when the website first started excepting bookings for 2008, but it would seem not from your experience. I emailed CC and explained that I hadn't received the booking conformation email and asked them to email me one, but for some reason they emailed me to tell me they would send me conformation in the post!!! The conformation I received was just a short computer generated piece which I'm sure could have been easily emailed, thereby saving the cost of postage. I supose the moral of this story is to print out the online screen of booking details in future.

Could you not go to the "my club" bit of the CC website just to confirm your booking, and print out the page ??

Yes, I suppose I could do that. However, I just thought it strange that some bookings received automated confirmation(s) when others didn't!!! I will, of course, take a printout with me when attending the relevant site(s), just in case.

I also emailed the CC but haven't received any response at all from them!!!!!

Anne Just a thought, it may be wise to ring prior to setting off to your site as no amount of paperwork will conjour up a pitch for you if the computer booking system has let you down.
