does anyone know that if you need to cancel a booking do you still have to pay the full amount? we booked Craigie Gardens in Ayr but need to cancel due to emergency.

Generally site owners are very considerate for genuine emergencies. We had an accident last year on the way to Merley Court. I phoned when I got home to explain what had happened and within two weeks we had a complete refund. Good luck and hope the emergency is not too hurtful.

The Caravan Club have never charged people for cancelling.....but please do phone up and tell them.We really get fed up when the site is supposedly fully booked,and people just do not turn up.These pitches could have gone to someone else.It is basic courtesy after all.
