Site convenient for Paris

My wife and I (no kids) are visiting Paris for a few days at the end of September. Any suggestions for reasonable site, facilities wise (not fussy for a pool or bar etc) within good commuting distance by public transport of the centre of the city.

Stayed at Le Village Parisien earlier this year. Has a bar, pool, tennis etc. A smallish site but would recommend it. We took the train into paris from nearby Meaux. It cost 18 euro return and that included an all day metro pass.

There is an excellent site near Versailles in woods called huttopia I think & is only about 20 minutes by excellent train into Paris. They also accept camping cheques. It's listed in the Caravan club Europe Book.

Huttopia at Versailles (and the other Huttopia sites) don't accept Camping Cheques any more. Shame, as we liked the sites - we've stayed at Huttopia Rambouillet and Huttopoia Senonches - also both in woodland, but with open areas, and lovely washblocks and central facilities. Senonches, especially, has a lovely lake and the restaurant and bar area has a terrace directly over the lake - lovely at sundown!

I'd generally recommend the Huttopia sites - and we'll be going back even if we have to pay 'full price'!

The Camping Bois de Boulogne is very handy for the city and not too difficult to find , however like all city sites it will be busy and probably not particularly restful but if its convenience for a city visit its fine.
