Site in North East / N Yorkshire

Hi,

New to caravanning and having only picked mine up yesterday am looking to have a couple of nights away over the Bank Holiday.

I must have tried 30 sites now and they are all booked up. Any tips on how to find one available. We havent joined any of the clubs yet so cant use their sites but intend to soon.

I live near teeside and just want somewhere to test my new toy.

Any help appreciated

If you want a 'proper' site then go to any of the Caravan Club sites at York, Knaresborough, Harrogate, in Swaledale or Wensleydale, or in Northumberland. All have easy access but they ain't cheap.

There are many CL or Certified Location sites of not more than five 'vans. There are two, one Caravan Club and the other Caravan and Camping Club, on the A170 just east of Helmsley, both of which I can recommend. Google is your friend......

Hi

If you cant find anywhere you can always try www.availablepitch.co.uk and they usually have a list of sites with some last minute pitches.
