Site near London City

Heading to to Cornwall via the M25 (northbound) and M4, we are looking for a site westwards of London with public transport facilities to London City.

Anyone suggestions?

Hi Carlton,

Right from the ferry H.o.H. - Harwich, via the A12, to the M25 and the M4. I consider to take the southbound M25, due to some expected traffic works on the northbound.

So this the reason to look after a site somewhere on the exit of the M25 to the M4.

As a continental driver I do not prefer to drive (with a caravan) in crowded cities.

I've never stayed at any site's in this area but you can read reviews from people who have. The first two Old marsh lane and Hurley riverside Park look good, close to the M4 Motorway. Hope this helps you out.

Try Camping & Caravanning Club site at Chertsey. Close to the train direct to London, and on the edge of the Thames. Nice.
